***Helping families and children in Pennsylvania cope with Pediatric Cancer***
I belong to a special group of women.
My friends and I have an amazing bond.
We never wanted to be in this group. Yet we are in it, for life.
Maybe we have met, maybe we haven’t.
Yet our love for each other is boundless.
We know the pain the other feels.
We share our victories, small and huge.
Words like chemo, IV, Zofran, and bald heads are always part of our conversations.
As well as tears, rage, and meltdowns.
We want to remember Nikki and make her proud.
Dealing with pediatric cancer is hard for all involved, and too hard to handle alone. We want to help support the families and children. In light of all those we are thinking of, we work as a 501(c) (3) non-profit public charity, along side Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, getting children and families what they need.
Our goal is to make a difference and NEVER forget what these brave children experience.
